His upcoming fight on February 27th in Dallas, Texas, against Raeese Aleem, is highly anticipated. Angelo Leo recent victory was against Tomoki Kameda in Japan this past May, where he maintained his current belt.
Future Aspirations
I asked Leo about a future weight class change and who he would love the opportunity to fight. As of now, Angelo Leo plans to continue competing at 126lbs, but he might consider moving up to 130lbs in about three years. When asked about his dream opponent, Leo expressed his desire to face Naoya Inoue, recognizing him as the greatest pound-for-pound fighter today. He believes that a victory against Inoue would significantly elevate his own career.
